Crude Revenue Accountant

Crude Revenue Accountant 

– Responsible for crude invoicing process. Liaison with Commercial and external customers

– Calculate over -/ underlift values for accounting and tax

– Review of freight costs according to contract   

– Review of accounting treatment of various crude commercial arrangements- Perform price and volume analysis

– Various crude reporting including Ministry of Energy

– Support NxtGen ERP SME

– Process and execute business improvement initiatives.   

– Ensure that all financial transactions are properly documented, recorded and reported 

Qualifications:

– Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

– Good knowledge of USGAAP accounting rules

– System & analytical skills with a practical approach to problem solving

– Display initiative, plan and control own work within scheduled deadlines

– Structured, accurate, and cost focused

– Strong English communication skills written and verbally

– Strong communicator and presentation skills

– 7 years or more of direct finance-related experience

– Understanding of oil and gas business operations

– Knowledge of accounting rules and regulations for NGAAP and Tax

– Good knowledge of SAP, MS Office programs and analytics software’s
